Clinical Trial Coordinator
Mel has been working in healthcare for almost 20 years, 15 of which have been in Diabetes Care. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education from Curtin University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics (Hons) from the University of Wollongong. She began working in clinical trials 10 years ago and hasn’t looked back. Outside of work, Mel enjoys spending time with family and friends, is an avid dog lover, a dedicated coffee drinker, and a devoted tennis fan.
· Mentoring young colleagues and promoting diversity in the research industry.
Outside the office, she is an avid hiker of New Zealand’s national parks, enjoys landscape photography and volunteers with local science outreach programmes to inspire the next generation of researchers.
